Blind dating is on the cards this panto season when unsuspecting men in the audience at Loughborough Town Hall will be taking to the stage as a stooge in this year’s spectacular show Cinderella! Cinder’s Ugly Sisters haven’t had much luck recently with their internet dating and have decided the only way to get some male attention is if the ladies of Loughbrough and Leicestershire nominate their husband, boyfriend, dad or brother to join them on stage to play two very important roles – their boyfriends!

Ugly sister Halitosia, jokes, “Christmas is such a lonely time when you are single, so we are hoping that you lovely ladies will nominate your men to take part in the panto this year as our boyfriends!” Her sister Odouria adds, “We all know that men are impossible to buy for, so if you’re not sure what to get your man this Christmas, then this is an experience he won’t forget in a hurry!”

Pantomime Director Neil Bull, who audiences will remember from his regular appearances on the Loughbrough panto stage over the years, explains: “Has your man annoyed you this year by leaving his smelly socks all over the house? If so, we need your help! During each show there will be a very special opportunity for the ladies in the audience to get their own back on the man in their lives, and we are looking for victims for every show!”

Nominations for your nearest and dearest should be given directly to the theatre or call 01509 231914 with the name of your chosen man for the Ugly Sisters, along with the time and date of the performance they are attending and their seat number.
