PAST EVENT: Stitchuation
Thursday 15th January to Saturday 28th February 2026 -
About the event
A Group Exhibition by Traverse
Traverse invites you to explore Stitchuation — a playful, provocative, and thought-provoking exhibition that uses stitch as both medium and message. Bringing together the unique voices of four textile artists, this collaborative show traverses personal, emotional and imagined landscapes through thread, texture, colour and form.
Expect work that challenges convention and celebrates the versatility of textile art — from delicate hand embroidery to bold, experimental surfaces. Each piece is a response to the “situations” we find ourselves in: personal journeys, environmental tensions, and everyday absurdities — all stitched into being.
Whether you’re drawn by the humour, the craft, or the deeper commentary, Stitchuation offers a fresh look at the art of textiles — and the stories they can tell.
