LTH confirms the re-opening of the Sock Gallery and Box Office
Published Wed 12th May, 2021 by Loughborough Town Hall
It is with great pleasure that Loughborough Town Hall can confirm that our Sock Gallery and in-person Box Office will be re-opening to the public from Monday 17th May 2021 at 9am.
This is following the recent confirmation from the Government that Step 3 of its Roadmap will take place, and this will be the first time in over a year that we have been able to welcome our wonderful visitors back into the venue.
Visitors will now be able to peruse our Pilgrimages exhibition by Rita and Mick Sadler in our Sock Gallery, as well as make enquiries and purchase tickets by phone and in-person through our Box Office.
The health and safety of our visitors and staff remains our primary concern. We have put extensive measures in place to ensure visitors and our staff can return to the venue safely. These measures include hand sanitiser stations, a one-way system to ensure social distancing, installed protective screens, a managed entry point and an enhanced cleaning plan.
We have also temporarily amended our opening times to 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
We are continuing to work and plan for the return of live performances on our stage and shows in our auditoria. We will continue to follow Government guidance at all times with regards to operating a venue and live performances, and are encouraged by the recent test events run across the country. We will provide further updates on the return of live performances in due course.
We would like to thank our audiences for their continued support throughout the past year, alongside the many producers, promoters, artists, groups and organisations we work with.
We are incredibly grateful for all the kind words of support throughout and we look forward to welcoming everyone back through the doors of Loughborough Town Hall.
