Looking for something for the kids to do this summer? There are still a few places left on Loughborough Town Hall's Musical Theatre Workshops, during August. Book now to ensure that your child is not disappointed.

“Show in a Week is a fantastic opportunity for young people. You don’t need any previous performing experience but you should like singing, dancing and acting,” explains Rosanna Cant, Show in a Week Coordinator. “The musical theatre workshops are now in their third year and have proved to be very popular with all the young people who take part. Everyone has lots of fun, learning new skills and making friends, and this year we hope more budding entertainers will join us and develop their talents.”

The musical workshops are led by two fully-trained industry professionals, with a wealth of experience in improvisation, physical theatre and performance. The first Show in a Week Workshop, from Monday 6 to Friday 10 August, will focus on the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and is open to 6-11 year olds. The second workshop, focusing on the musical My Fair Lady, takes place from Monday 12 to Friday 16 August, and is open to 10-16 year olds.

The workshops run from 10.15am – 3.30pm each day ending in a short performance on the Friday of each week. Places are £95 for the week. For more information and our application form see the show web page and contact Rosanna Cant 01509 634913 or rosanna.cant@charnwood.gov.uk
