2nd July 2022 - 10.00am -16.00pm
Venue: Sock Gallery
A hands on day of lino printing run by wildlife artist Richard Jarvis. The workshop is aimed at both beginners and those with some experience. Richard will guide you through the process, from the use of the cutting tools, transferring an image onto the lino and cutting the block, through to the final inking and printing. There will be a choice of smaller lino blocks, that can be printed through the press, or a larger block that will need to be hand burnished. All materials are provided, and some reference images will be available on the day, but please feel free to bring your own. It is advisable to bring an apron or wear older clothes as the water-based inks can stain.
All workshops are 16+
With complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day.
