A solo exhibition by Valerie Astill

Valerie has always enjoyed exploring with her camera, and since starting to paint a few years ago, her photographs have been a constant source of inspiration. Valerie has a need for variety, the subjects of her paintings range from flowers in her garden, ancient cairns in Wales and Scotland, to vintage cars seen in a museum in Fairbanks, Alaska.

From Europe, there are portraits of a retired Dutch fisherman and a Spanish guitar player as well as scenes from Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.  Further afield are views from Peru, Argentina, and China.
