This year is the 800th anniversary of the Royal Charters which granted permission for the Market and Fair to be held in Loughborough.

Fair 800 will be an exhibition celebrating Loughborough Fair.¬†Working closely with members of the Showman’s Guild of Great Britain and The Fairground Association of Great Britain, the exhibition will contain Showman’s histories, original artwork and sketches by renowned fairground artists, miniature fair rides and much more.

Leicestershire County Council will also be showing a display of collected memories from the public about Loughborough Fair.
