‘Lucky Star’ charts the drama off stage as much as on stage, as a Broadway Company prepares an ambitious musical based on the life of Madonna. With rivalry soon forming between a youthful, inexperienced actress striving to find fame in the big city, and a stage veteran who is determined to leave the chorus line and finally get her big break, who will the director, choreographer and writing team choose as their ‘Lucky Star?’

Will the cast be able to leave their differences at the stage door? Will the cast win over their investors to get the show to stage and will ‘Lucky Star’ become the smash everyone hopes it will be?
