18th October 2018 - 1.30pm
Venue: Loughborough Town Hall
This colourful event brings together Author John Hegley and Illustrator Neal Layton who present the tale of Stanley’s Stick. With a stick in hand, Stanley's options are endless - his imagination takes over and the magic begins. Join Stanley as he flies to the moon, writes in the sand, goes fishing, plays a whistle and even rides a dinosaur…
Thoroughly entertaining, Stanley’s Stick is Hegley and Layton's first collaboration. John's sticky story was gloriously depicted in unrestricted use of colour and collage by Mister Layton, who will draw Stanley live on stage, as his story is told alongside other favourites of the duo, old and new-oh.
Stanley’s Stick and other books by John Hegley and Neal Layton will be available to purchase, try and stop John and Neal signing them!
Suitable for anyone over 5 and a half. Children must bring a grown-up.
