A Solo Exhibition by Anne Kingham

Anne is a local artist living in Barrow upon Soar. After retiring she started painting, mainly in oils because she loves the rich, glowing colours. It seemed a natural step to start doing stained and fused glass work.

Much of what Anne has done recently in glass is inspired by the movement of the sea. Mainly abstract or semi abstract work and, as an admirer of Abstract Expressionism and with a love of expressionist dance, Anne likes to incorporate this into her glass work and painting.
