In his new home of Nigeria the local kids find his British accent hilarious, and whilst UK culture is changing - the rise of the Spice Girls, Gazza and Blair, all he really wants to know is what’s happening to Kylie and Jason.

At 16 he returns to Hackney, and throughout his formative years, Funmbi was continually a fish out of water.
