A great evening of live jazz covering well known standards including blues, bossas and ballads from Liz's extensive repertoire, performed in the relaxed and intimate surroundings of the venue's Sock Gallery.

Liz was born and grew up in Loughborough and continues to live locally. A graduate in Music from Bath Spa University, she has recently released her new CD entitled You Don't Know What Love Is.

This evening's special guest performer will be saxophonist Andy Shillingford.

Having started out with the Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra, Andy became the lead alto with the Bimingham-based Fat Chops Big Band giving him the opportunity to play with some of the world’s greatest musicians such as Bobby Shew, Lanny Morgan, Bruce Adams and many more. He has also played in music festivals all over the UK, Europe and America, as well as being a featured soloist on recent CDs by the Steve King Big Band and Nu-Jazz guitarist Lee Jones.
