Victoria Wood's hilarious musical, based on her 80s spoof sketch, comes to Loughborough Town Hall. Based in the busy antiques shop in Manchesterford it is presided over by Miss Babs the voluptuous and lovelorn owner of Acorn Antiques. The town of Manchesterford is alarmed when the Countess sells the high street to property developers. Soon coffee shops, credit stores, and the Hong Kong Thong and Panty Hut want to move in and evict the locals!

This musical extravaganza complete with “Mrs Overall” in full tap dancing splendour is a laugh out loud musical comedy that will have everyone on their feet.
