Sock Gallery's Open Exhibition, generously sponsored by Moss Solicitors, provides a wonderful opportunity for 2D Artists from all backgrounds to showcase their work at this highly popular exhibition.

Sock Gallery was delighted with the response to its third Open Exhibition, with over 345 pieces being submitted. Artists from around the country applied, most coming from the midlands area, offering a wonderful opportunity to behold an array of talent, from both adults and young people.

The independent judging panel made their choices, and 179 pieces were selected to be exhibited, more than ever before, showing the very high standard of work we received this year. An overall Winner of the Adult category and the Young Persons category has been selected, Bonnie Leeman with her piece ‘Blue’ won the Adult Category and Luke Sheppard with his piece ‘Winter Coat’ won the young persons category; the prizes were presented at the Private View on Saturday 9^th August by Laura Anderson of Moss Solicitors, the sponsor of this year’s open.

The open exhibition offers the opportunity for artists both professional and amateur to apply and exhibit in a professional gallery.

The exhibition is running from the 9^th August – 7^th September and many wall pieces are for sale. –  Sock Gallery is open Monday – Saturday from 9am – 5.00pm  and when the venue is open for shows, with free entry.
