Founded in 1991, Peak District Artisans is an association of professional artists, designer-makers, based in and around the beautiful Peak District National Park. Currently numbering around 60 members, many fulltime professionals, members are selected for their excellent standard of craftsmanship, producing quality arts and crafts with a link to the Peak District. The group is a self funded co-operative which stages their own exhibitions including a Spring showcase at Haddon Hall and the award winning Great Dome Art Fair in Buxton. Peak District Artisans also exhibit collectively at events including Melbourne Festival, Derbyshire Open Arts, Buy Art Fair in Manchester and the Great Sheffield Art Show. Many members sell their work and produce at shows and exhibitions for arts and crafts all over the UK and beyond.
