The third in a series of workshops at Sock Gallery, 'The Wonder of Watercolours' by Vivienne Cawson.

Amaze yourself by painting a fresh, exciting watercolour with gorgeous colour, pattern and effects. Using a simple floral still life you will be encouraged to work spontaneously, keeping drawing to a minimum and allowing the beautiful and sometimes unexpected aspects of the medium of watercolour to just happen. 

Course Outline

Morning
•Brief introduction to day relating to my work.
•Demonstration - techniques and application to the subject
•Loosen Up Activity - explore watercolour media and techniques appropriate to the subject
•Demonstration – how and where do I start?
•Paint.........

Afternoon
•Ongoing 1 -1tuition
•Group critique

Course Materials
All people enrolled on the course must bring with them their own brush - a ‘round’ watercolour brush, size 8 or 10
All other materials required are provided

£50 per person, limited availability

10am-4pm, including a 30 minute break. Tea and Cakes are included.
