Orchestra of the Swan is one of the finest Chamber Orchestra's in the UK.  This is the second concert in a series of four. 

David Le Page, Orchestra of the Swan’s Leader, is soloist in this programme dedicated to the greatest musical genius the world will ever know.  The programme also features Schnittke’s witty and affectionate tribute to Mozart and his great friend and colleague Haydn.

David le Page - violin
David le Page was a member of the Kreutzer Quartet for four years (with whom he recorded the complete Tippett quartets, Shostakovich quartets and two string quartets by the Icelandic composer Halfidi Halgrulson) and is now a member of the Caractus Quartet and the Orsino Piano Trio. He is the violinist and violist with the Composors Ensemble and has performed with them as a soloist at the Adelburgh Festival. David plays on a violin by Jean Baptiste Vuillaume made in 1876.
