Venue: Loughborough Town Hall

The international award-winning octet, VOCES8, has established itself as the foremost young British a cappella group.

Famed for their scintillating and unique interpretations of jazz and pop favourites including theme tunes from the legendary James Bond movies, they also sing classical motets by J. S. Bach.  Performing a repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to unique Jazz and Pop arrangements, the group present a stunning performance, exquisite singing and create a sound that spans the entire range of vocal colour.

Founded by ex-choristers of Westminster Abbey, VOCES8 won first prize in 2005 at the International Choral Grand Prix in Gorizia, Italy and have subsequently performed widely in the UK, Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia.

“The a cappella group VOCES8 offers more: an impressive stage presence with imaginative theatricality and a well balanced programme”   Malcolm Miller, Classical Music Daily

“Be it Choral, Vocal Jazz, Pop, Classical Spiritual or whatever genre you'd care to put them in, Voces8 is one of the best a cappella groups we've ever heard.”    John Neal  www.singers.com
