Jonathan Larson’s “rock opera for the MTV generation” comes to Loughborough. A firmly-established legend of musical theatre, Rent boasts La Vie Bohème, Rent and Seasons of Love amongst its many hit numbers.

Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, it tells of impoverished young artists in New York’s East Village, where young ambitious lives struggle against 80s property greed, destruction of the arts and the terror of HIV infection.

Rent is one of Broadway’s ten longest-running shows.
