'Moments' - A solo exhibition by Terry Davies

Terry will be holding a solo exhibition at the new Loughborough Town Hall Gallery from the 4th April to the 5th June 2011. The exhibition will comprise a range of work featuring atmospheric landscapes and seascapes from around Britain and will illustrate the diversity of the British landscape captured at moments when light and weather combine to present the landscape at its best. Also available will be a wide range of mounted prints and Terry's new range of fine art greeting cards.

Terry is a self publishing landscape photographer. He has developed a range of techniques which result in the creation of images with a painterly feel which assists in recreating the character and mood of a scene and is complemented by the use of high quality fine art materials to create top quality giclée prints. His work is often very large with framed images up to 1.5m in length.

He exhibits his work regularly in a wide range of venues and events from London to Yorkshire. In 2007 he was selected to exhibit in the 'Peoples Choice' exhibition at the Melbourne Festival and in 2009 he was a finalist in the Leicestershire Artist of the Year competition.

He has undertaken a range of commissions including home portraits and photo montage work. Recent commissions include the creation of a significant number of works for a large new school in Leicestershire and a large work for Charnwood Borough Council. He also provides a giclée printing service for artists and photographers.
