Nature, Staged and Unbound
Thursday 23rd April to Saturday 6th June 2026 -
About the event
A Solo Exhibition by Chloe Jean
Nature, Staged and Unbound’ explores the relationship between the handmade and the natural, the miniature and the monumental.
Through paper collages, dioramas, sculpted flowers, butterflies, and painted botanicals, nature is staged and reimagined. Each piece carries the intimacy of craft—the cut, the fold, the fragile layer—while drawing from contemporary art and installation. The result is a whimsical, precise ecology: a paper wilderness in bloom, where gardens spill beyond frames, butterflies hover, and flora unfold in fragility and abundance.
The exhibition immerses visitors in nature as it might be—fabricated, layered, and reimagined through the transformative potential of paper and paint.
Please note on Saturday 23rd April and Saturday 2nd May, half of the gallery will be closed due to a workshop between 10am – 4pm.
