Basic handstitching (back stitch) is required – but don’t worry about being neat! It’s a day of untidy stitching

The little people are created from wire armature and fabric scraps that would otherwise get thrown away.

We will focus on being materials led,  letting the things we have dictate who they become, with an emphasis on creating a narrative around them.

In the morning we’ll concentrate on the basic structure, looking at body proportions and how subtle changes to facial features can create different expressions. After lunch the session will focus on clothing options and body poses and suggestions for how they can be developed further.
