Acrylic Landscape painting with Artist Liz Dowding.

In this workshop we will look at creating an atmospheric landscape, featuring a scene showing the light breaking through storm clouds, illuminating patches of fields and the hillside. A country lane leads us in, taking the eye through to the hills in the background, with rays of light coming through the clouds. We will practice colour mixing, and exploring how the colours add the feeling of perspective and distance in the image, creating a foreground and far distance, creating a visual ‘journey’.
