As a slightly more unique wedding venue to that of a country house or hotel, Loughborough Town Hall provides a friendly and informal approach in an attractive venue. With our experienced staff running a variety of events on a regular basis, we are committed to providing an excellent service in order to make your day as special as it deserves to be.
As well as offering the fantastic opportunity to get married in Loughborough’s original Council Chamber, our Civil Marriage Licence also covers the beautiful Victoria Room.

Prices
Hire either the Council Chamber (maximum room occupancy 60) or the Victoria Room (maximum room occupancy 180), for a morning or afternoon ceremony.
- Council Chamber: £250
- Victoria Room: £400
Please contact us for a quote specific to your requirements. Prices quoted above cover the cost of hiring a room set for the purpose of your ceremony and Town Hall staff to oversee your event. Customers must themselves make all arrangements relating to the Registrar needed to conduct their wedding ceremony by contacting the County Superintendent Registrar for Leicestershire Registration District and this should be done as soon as a provisional date for your wedding has been agreed with us.

Drinks Receptions
Additional to the hire of either our Council Chamber or Victoria Room, you're also more than welcome to use the Sock Gallery on the Ground Floor of the venue for pre and/or post ceremony drinks. Your guests can congregate here on arrival and you will also have exclusive use of this space to celebrate with your guests for up to 2 hours after the ceremony.
We can offer a range of reception drinks for you and your guests, prices available on request. If you would prefer not to pre-order drinks, we can simply open our downstairs bar for your guests to purchase drinks (no extra charge). You may also wish to consider providing some canapés for your guests - see a selection of ideas below.
