Main Hall
Central to Loughborough Town Hall is our 522 capacity* Main Hall.
As well as being a fully working theatre with lighting rig and PA, our retractable seating allows us to transform the room and accommodate a multitude of seating styles and capacities for all kinds of events. The maximum capacity very much depends on the room configuration.
The Main Hall is situated within a stone’s throw of the downstairs bar making it suitable for both shows and parties. With us being situated in the heart of Leicestershire, the central location of Loughborough Town Hall itself means we are also ideally placed for fairs and exhibitions which can be held in the Main Hall.

Main Hall stage size:- 7m x 7m
* Please note that 522 is the maximum capacity when the Main Hall is set in theatre style (tiered seating) without using the stage extension. When the retractable bleacher seating is pushed back, the floor area can hold up to 150 people in cabaret style (i.e. for wedding receptions/dinner dances).
