Our Spring 2015 season is now on sale! From renowned comedians and well-known drama to treasured children’s tales and enough music to keep you dancing all the way through til May, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Kicking off our new season, we are thrilled to present Propeller Theatre Company, joining us for the first time on 3rd February with their funny and frenetic version of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors in Pocket Comedy. The show is not only a great introduction to Shakespeare for kids, but to theatre of the highest possible standard.

Once again, we are also taking part in Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival with some really fantastic shows to get us all laughing in the New Year! Comedian Henning Wehn is here along with James Campbell, whose children’s show always proves popular in the festival. The Reduced Shakespeare Company are back with their Complete History of Comedy (Abridged) and we are also joined by Only Fools and Horses actor John Challis for an intimate evening of anecdotes and stories. Later in the season, we also have comedy from well-known performer and presenter Simon Amstell and crowd-favourite Dave Spikey.

We have some classic drama on offer once more, with stage adaptations of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and Austen’s Persuasion. And we haven’t forgotten the kids! There are lots of treats on offer for the whole family to enjoy including Ballet Theatre UK’s stunning version of Aladdin, a rip-roaring adventure with Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs and a yucky-mucky show about a Duck in the Truck.

If music is your passion then we’re sure to have something to take your fancy with our brilliant tribute shows The Bon Jovi Experience, The Life and Music of Jim Reeves and more! Talon also return with their latest production The Best of the Eagles and we have our regular Motown and Northern Soul Evenings to end the season on a high note this May.

And that’s not all! To see the full range of shows we have coming up this season, including the classic musicals and drama on offer from our local amateur groups, visit our Upcoming Events page.

We look forward to seeing you this season!
