The Wedding Fayre due to take place at Loughborough Town Hall on 26 February has been cancelled at short notice by the fayre promoter Pickled Ginger.

“We are very disappointed with Pickled Ginger’s decision,” said Town Hall Manager Nigel Strong. “The company had hired our venue for the fayre and we had fulfilled all our contractual obligations in support of the event. With just 12 days notice they have decided to cancel without giving any satisfactory explanation. This is extremely frustrating, as now there is not enough time available to put in place any alternative arrangements which might have enabled the Fayre to take place. Loughborough Town Hall would like to apologise unreservedly to our customers, stall holders and suppliers for any disappointment, but unfortunately the situation has been beyond the venue’s control.”
