Congratulations on your recent engagement and thank you for considering Loughborough Town Hall as your wedding venue!

With our experienced staff running a variety of events on a regular basis, we are committed to providing an excellent service in order to make your day as special as it deserves to be.

As a slightly more unique wedding venue to that of a country house or hotel, the Town Hall simply has bags to offer! As well as offering the fantastic opportunity to get married in Loughborough’s original Council Chamber, our Civil Marriage Licence now also covers the beautiful Victoria Room. So you can hold your civil cermeony at our venue as well as your reception if you wish.

It makes sense to hold both your wedding ceremony and wedding reception in the same venue; not only does this help keep costs down, it also makes for a much more relaxed environment . Our dedicated Events Team can help make this the best day of your life, from beginning to end, which is how it should be!

Our flexible service allows you to choose whether you'd like us to host the wedding service or the reception or indeed both!

Your Civil Wedding Ceremony - Hire either the Council Chamber (up to 65 guests) or the Victoria Room (up to 200 guests), for a morning or afternoon ceremony. The price includes parking space for one wedding car*.

  • Council Chamber, Thursday - Sunday: £250 (2012/2013 price)
  • Victoria Room, Thursday - Sunday: £350 (2012/2013 price)

After the ceremony, Queen’s Park is just a short walk away for picturesque outdoor photo opportunities.

Loughborough Wedding Receptions - The beautiful Victoria Room at the Town Hall is the perfect setting for your reception. Included in your room hire are full bar facilities, the room set to your requirements and the option of having a dance floor and/or stage. You are welcome to hire in a DJ or band, we can highly reccommend DG Music for all your entertainment needs:- www.dgmusic.co.uk and how about hiring our PA system for those all important speeches!

Catering – Whether it’s a buffet or a banquet you had in mind, our mouth-watering menus offer something for everyone. Our catering team are always happy to discuss alternative ideas and can cater for any dietary requirements you or your guests may have. Whether you'd like canapes and cocktails or a banquet with bubbly, we are happy to work to your budget and requirements.
