Tony Jacobs with the Jim Barry Quintet

This is not a lookalike or sound alike show but a fast moving, fun-packed concert celebrating the work of Frank Sinatra plus Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Al Jolson, Harry James, Artie Shaw, Perry Como, Bobby Darin and Tommy Dorsey and the great songwriters such as Cole Porter and Irving Berlin.

Songs and tunes featured include: You Make Me Feel So Young, That’s Amore, Mack The Knife, Tiger Rag(believe it or not!), Hello Dolly, My Way, New York New York and I’m Getting Sentimental Over You – not to mention a marathon 25 song medley of other Sinatra hits.

Tony is backed by the Jim Barry Quintet, which comprises some of the UK’s finest musical talent. Jim was principal keyboardist with the BBC Radio Band for many years. Saxophonist Sue Greenway is fresh from appearances with the RAF Squadronnaires, the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and the BBC Big Band and guitarist Len Walker has played with Nelson Riddle, Peggy Lee, Bing Crosby and Jack Jones.
