This world famous musical brings audiencesaheart-warming tale of love, worry and betrayal. Based upon the book entitled 'Anna and the King of Siam' by Margaret Landon, which was made into a hit musical film in 1956 starring Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner, The King and I follows Anna Leonowens and her aim to help the King of Siam modernize to Western cultures. One of Rodger and Hammerstein’s masterpieces, The King and I presents the audience with a captivating storyline, stunning costumes and scenery alongside the world famous songs; ‘Getting To Know You’, ‘Hello, Young Lovers’, ‘We Kiss in a Shadow’, ‘Shall We Dance?’ and ‘I Have Dreamed’ to name just a few.
