Chris Barber leads his 8-piece band playing a wide selection of his favourite music - from his roots in New Orleans style to the early music of Duke Ellington up to the soulful blues of Miles Davis. Over the years Chris Barber has influenced many of today's leading Jazz and Blues musicians from Mark Knopfler to Van Morrison (with some of whose bands Chris has played as a special guest). The Chris Barber Jazz and Blues Band adds all of these ingredients to an evening of exciting and often moving music, great entertainment for all!
