UK sax star Soweto Kinch has won virtually every major music award in the book: a Mercury Music Prize for Album Of The Year, MOBO and Urban Music Awards for Best Jazz Act, plus a pile of BBC Radio Jazz Awards…the list goes on. Following on from his internationally acclaimed debut album Conversations with the Unseen and jazz/hip hop EP Jazz Planet, Soweto performs the first instalment of his innovative new two-part project: A Life In The Day Of B19. Traversing jazz, hip hop and poetry, ‘B19’ weaves a narrative and message of hope through a diverse range of musical worlds and marks the latest phase in Soweto’s development as a major artist.
