Live It Up: Come and Celebrate Older Age!

A free event to celebrate Older Persons month in Charnwood!This event is for people living in Charnwood over the age of 50. It will promote local services, and offer individuals the opportunity to try out and enjoy a range of different activities free of charge.

The event will have information displays from agencies and organisations that work within Charnwood. This information will seek to inform and advise visitors on the availability of services and provision in the area.

The information stalls will include:

· Health and Well-being

· Housing

· Adult Education

· Benefits

· Pensions

· Leisure And Lifestyle

· Voluntary and Community Activities

There will also be a range of activities taking place throughout the day for you to enjoy free of charge!

These include:

· Seated Exercise

· Line Dancing

· Guided Walk (Queens Park)

· Tai Chi

· Relaxation

· Complimentary Therapies (to include - Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Reiki)

This event has been organised in conjunction with the following organisations and groups:
