Tell a friend:

25th May 2007 - 6.30pm

Framed! tells the story of the 1816 Ludditeattack on John Heathcoat's Loughborough mill using storytelling, songs, music and scenes to re-create and present theevents. The piece has been devised here at the Town Hall through collaborative research and workshopsby the participants and a professional director.

This is the first project by The People's Theatre, an adult drama group based in Charnwood who devise and create ensemble and community theatre.

This project is supported by Charnwood Borough Council, Loughborough Town Hall, Charnwood Arts and The Astra Zeneca Arts in the Community Awards. Performed as part of the Heart of Three Cities programme.

These performances will continue in all but the worst weather. This is a promenadeperformance and will take place in a number of locations in the park.
