A semi-autobiographical play by Neil Simon (The Odd Couple, Barefoot in the Park), Chapter Two focuses upon George Schneider, a recently-widowed writer who is introduced to actress Jennie Malone by friends. Only just divorced, Jennie is uncertain if she’s ready to start dating yet. Neither is George, whose memories of his first wife threaten to interfere with any effort to embrace a new romance.

Following the huge success of Brassed Off, The Festival Players are delighted to be presenting this deeply poignant, yet witty and uplifting play which has moved audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.
