In NYC life is tough for many and that’s includes the children at the Municipal Girls Orphanage run by Miss Hannigan. Annie believes her parents left her there by mistake. When a rich man named Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks decides to let an orphan live at his home for Christmas to promote his image, Annie is selected. Whilst at the mansion Annie still longs to meet her parents, so Daddy Warbucks announces a search for them with a reward; which brings out the shows fraudsters and villains (Miss Hannigan, Rooster and Lily St Regis) who obviously want to claim the reward! Rest assured that good prevails over bad and there is a happy ever after for Annie.
A story which will warm your heart, with some villains thrown in for good measure and songs that you’ll be humming for days and days. Trust us ‘the sun will come out tomorrow’ and you’ll leave the theatre with a massive smile on your face and a warm heart.
PLEASE NOTE: This show was originally scheduled to take place on 8th-12th September 2020.
