A collaborative exhibition of cathedral paintings by Rita and Mick Sadler

Rita is a local art tutor and Mick is a retired graphic designer, whose love of sketching plein air has created this joint exhibition inspired by their adventures around England visiting ancient cathedrals.

Their pilgrimage is a journey into a world of magnificent buildings steeped in monarchy and monastic history, architecture, social history, heraldry and much more. Working from sketchbook studies and photographs, the diverse range of paintings depict observations and the feelings generated by what they learnt from their travels.
