Buildings for Biodiversity Seminar

Tell a friend:

5th March 2018 - 09:30-16:30

Venue: Loughborough Town Hall

This is a one day seminar aimed primarily at raising awareness of how important both rural and urban buildings and their surrounding landscaping are to the survival of key species and offers a great opportunity for planning officers and others to gain CPD credits. Through a series of talks and workshops participants will learn how the built environment can contribute to green infrastructure, the circumstances under which surveys and enhancement may reasonably be required and how in the early design stage of new developments thought can be given to biodiversity enhancements. Speakers include recognised experts and consultants in the fields of bat, invertebrate and bird ecology.
