A Group Exhibition by Tangent Textiles

Inspiration from Nature

Based in the West Midlands, Tangent Textiles is a group of enthusiastic textile artists with a diversity of skill and expertise who meet regularly to exchange ideas. Their meetings are also an opportunity for critical appraisal of work in progress, which helps them to push their artistic boundaries when planning and creating new work for exhibitions.

The majority of work in this exhibition of contemporary stitched textiles is inspired by the natural world and each member of the group has interpreted the theme in their own unique style; the interesting mix of techniques further illustrates their diverse creative strengths.
