Welcome to Whitewall High School … where anything can happen in a drama lesson! Three students, Salty, Gail and Hobby put on an end of term play about the trials and tribulations of their new Drama teacher, Mr Nixon, as he tries to deal with staff and pupils alike. Meet Mr Basford, the deputy head, Doug the caretaker, Oggy Moxon, the school bully, the legendary Barry Wobshall and a host of other colourful characters.

John Godber is one of the most popular and successful English playwrights of the last thirty years, best-known for his modern classics Bouncers, On the Piste and Shakers. Teechers  was written in 1984 and first performed by the Hull Truck Theatre Company at the 1987 Edinburgh Festival to great acclaim.
