29th October to 5th December 2015
Venue: Sock Gallery
A solo exhibition by Dave Green
Now living in North Devon, Dave Green’s current work is themed on sea caves, shipwrecks and the wild rocky shore. All of Dave’s photography is digital and his finished images are often constructed from more than 100 separate photographs, of different exposure and angle of view, all from a fixed point. He achieves the richest detail, from the deepest blacks to the brightest highlights, in an often extremely high contrast scene. This exhibition, incorporating the best of Dave’s current work, includes the development of his technique from last century's 35mm film triptychs to his present day stitching of multiple digital files together.
Sock Gallery is an exciting exhibition space within the foyer area at Loughborough Town Hall. It is open Mondays-Saturdays from 9am-5pm and when the venue is open for events and shows. Entry to SOCK Gallery is free of charge.
