2nd September 2015 to 2nd January 2016

Venue: Sock Gallery

Sockette

A solo exhibition by Janet Anderton-Nunn

Janet tells us she rebels against her austere northern upbringing by cutting pretty things out of paper. Drawing on folklore, myths and whimsy for inspiration, each piece of Janet's work is designed and then hand cut from a single sheet of paper. The process of cutting out, removing something, to reveal the image, is something she finds infinitely satisfying. Not only a paper cut artist, Janet has also been known to dabble in watercolour paintings.

Sockette is located on the first floor at Loughborough Town Hall, accessed from the main foyer area. It is open Mondays-Saturdays from 9am-5pm and when the venue is open for events and shows.  Entry to all of Loughborough Town Hall's galleries is free of charge.
