Bring your favourite short story or poem to life!

In this workshop you will learn how to delve into different mark making techniques, to make up your creative drawing from a story/poem of your choice.
The first part of the workshop will be a warm up session with quick life drawing exercises, from there we will be experimenting with marks, shapes and different drawing techniques, how to take random marks and ink splashes to then expand them to use in illustration.
The second part will be gathering together all the drawings produced and then using the learnt techniques to create an illustration, using your favourite story or poem for inspiration.

Things you will need to bring:-
As many black pens as you want
Different types of paper
Photos, magazines, books, poems or short stories for inspiration

£50.00 per person, limited availability.
10am - 4pm, including a 30 minute break.
Tea and Cakes are included.
