Bram Stoker’s timeless gothic thriller embodies the struggle to break taboos, resist temptation and prevent the unknown outside becoming the enemy within.  As Dracula’s shadow looms large, a small group lead by Professor Van Helsing, are locked in a struggle for survival where only the fittest will survive.

‘I can give you your forbidden, secret desire – the soft bitter touch of my kiss, the surrender, the chance to live and love for ever.’

Blackeyed Theatre’s brilliant, theatrical treatment blends gothic with the contemporary, drawing eclectically on a wide range of forms of popular entertainment that were established or emerging at the time. Specially commissioned live music, powerful ensemble performances and innovative design, Dracula is an exciting and thought-provoking theatrical experience.

Dracula Reviews

"with great clarity and theatrical ingenuity, its cast of five doubling and trebling to strong effect, as the production’s atmosphere by turn grips and begins to taut...a production that really should be seen”  What’s On Stage

“To say the five cast members were multi-talented is a huge understatement. Singing, playing instruments and all taking on more than one role, this quintet was awesome to behold. Their interaction with the climbing frame-esque set and one another was flawless. Their energy was infectious”  North Devon Journal

“one of the most innovative and gripping theatre performances I’ve seen”  The Thread
