Literature at Lunchtime: Dracula by Bram Stoker

Tell a friend:

29th October 2013 - 12 noon

Venue: Loughborough Town Hall

An Irishman of extraordinary creativity, Stoker was a friend of Shaw and the theatrical manager of Henry Irving, but it is his creation of the undead Count which captured the public's imagination. A fascinating Halloween treat.

Our highly popular series of lunchtime lectures on the great works of literature are brought to you by Dr Jane Mackay.  Her obvious love for her subject, penetrating insight, wit, warmth and humanity continue to enthral.

The lecture takes place in the welcoming comfort of the Victoria Room, with unreserved seating.
