Private Lives is one of Coward's most famous plays. Elyot and Amanda are glamorous, rich and divorced. Five years after the collapse of their marriage, they meet again on the adjoining balconies of a Riviera hotel. Each is on honeymoon with a new partner. Their passion rekindles and, without a thought for their new partners or what drove their marriage apart, they try again for love.
