Applications for Sock fair 2014 now open!!!

Leicestershire's Premier Art and Crafts fair is back and in its 6th Year!

Sock 2014 will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March 2014 in the Main Hall(situated on the ground floor) and in the Sock Gallery from 10am – 4pm both days. Entrance to the public is FREE

We are looking for: Visual Arts, Textiles, Ceramics, Glass, Jewellery, Furniture, Sculpture, Photography and Interiors. 

35 makers will be selected, with a limit on each art form in order to achieve a balance of work. The applications will be judged by an independent panel including representatives from Creative Leicestershire, Design Factory, the Ferrers Gallery and Charnwood Borough Council.

Application Forms to be received no later than Friday 29th November 2013.

As well as the requirement to select a wide range of work, the panel have specific selection criteria which include:

·Quality of the work (technical skill)
·Originality of work (ideas behind the work)
·Products that are likely to sell
·Work that is well presented

Please be aware that due to the number of applicants the panel are, unfortunately, not in a position to offer individual feedback on decisions made.
