The aims of the open are too:

·         Provide a platform for both local and national, professional and amateur artists to exhibit their work

·         For people of Charnwood and the surrounding areas to access the broad range of 2D mediums from a broad range of artists

The open is available for anyone to apply upwards of the age of 11 years old. People from all over the UK and beyond are welcome to apply. Pieces submitted to the open will go through a selection panel, and those that are successful will be put through to the final exhibition.

The Exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday 4^th July – Wednesday 1^st August 2012 in SOCK gallery. Entrance to the gallery is free to the public within the Town Hall opening hours.

Submissions are to be made in person to Loughborough Town Hall within the following time frame:

Thursday 21^st June 2012 10am – 5pm

Friday 22^nd June 2012 10am – 5pm

Saturday 23^rd June 2012 10am – 5pm

If your submission cannot be made within this time please contact the office, to pre arrange another time. Without prior arrangement we cannot accept submissions.

Young Persons Category (ages 11-17), Winner of this category: £150

18 and Over, Winner of this category: £400
