The Quiet American by Graham Greene
Given present world affairs, it seems very appropriate to read Greene’s depiction of an idealistic young American in Vietnam, spreading ‘democracy’ and its consequent death and chaos! Come and enjoy a great journalist’s truly masterful novel, which was turned into a fine film in 2002 film starring Michael Caine.
