Based in Leicestershire, Darren Dearden describes his work as quirky contemporary. He exhibits regularly throughout the country and
has undertaken a variety of private commissions. He continues to push his work in all directions evolving in subject matters, mediums and styles. Although sometimes simple in appearance and creating underlying emotions, his work is complex and carefully crafted to the enquiring mind so that in the end a part of himself shows through, as well as the meaning behind it
